Setting itself apart from conventional pitch-to-MIDI converters, Jam Synth doesn't rely on MIDI for sound production internally. This decision allows for capturing the expressive pitch and dynamics of a stringed instrument more organically.

The app excels in accurately tracking string bends and vibrato, equivalent to the precision of a strobe tuner (1/10 of 1 cent). This accuracy results in richer synth sounds compared to other guitar-to-MIDI converters. While featuring MIDI output, Jam Synth's output still delivers a unique hybrid of guitar and synth tones due to its exceptional pitch bend capabilities.
